What Causes Swollen Leg And Back Pain After Excessive Alcohol Consumption?

I have had a normal ultrasound and MRI with nuclear medicine on liver last year, my liver panels are fine, as of may this year, I have some leg edema and side and back pain on liver side of body, is there a chance I have liver disease, been drinking heavily for 15 years

Hi,

I do understand your pain and discomfort. As per your history is concerned please check reports of these test if already done:

1) Do a full blood count with differential and ESR (Infection and lymph node)

2) Do Urine (RE/ME) and check renal function test report (Kidney function test)

3) Do fasting blood sugar and TSH and D-Dimer test(Endocrine and DVT)

4) Check ECG & ECHO report (Heart)

Check and let me know as you have already done MRI.
