Hello,

You are suffering from swollen legs, pain in the lower back and fatigue. You also have loss of hunger, pins and needles on the sides of the calf muscles. Swollen legs are commonly caused by water retention, lymphedema, obesity, deep vein thrombosis, heart failure, kidney problem, etc. Other medical conditions that may cause similar symptoms are sprained ankle, osteoarthritis, knee bursitis, broken ankle, diabetic neuropathy, developing peripheral neuropathy, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get blood tests and investigations done. You will be treated accordingly.

Stay active so that circulation is optimum. Avoid standing or sitting for a long time on the same position. To get relief from pain you can take Combiflam, one stat when pain. Keep your legs at rest, keep it elevated on a stool when sitting and on a pillow while on bed. You should take vitamin B6, B12, zinc, magnesium rich diet or you can also take supplements. Stay away from addictions if any. Control your blood glucose level at all cost, neglect may worsen the symptoms. Get treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
