Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve had a swollen lymph node I m my groin area for about six months, dr. Did a series of tests, nothing of consequence was found. Now I have swollen lymph nodes in both armpits as well as on both sides of neck. I m extremely tired all the time and have had to reduce my work hours down to about fifteen hours a week. I have no energy and everything I eat tastes like metal. I m getting scared.
There are several reasons why a lump like that may come:
-Athletes feet in the past months/weeks
-Skin infection nearby
-Herpes genital infection
-Blood disease
-Testicular cancer
Especially the 2 last one are very important to rule out, because they are important problems that need to rule out as soon as possible, and because your lump does not seem inflammatory (not painful, hard, immobile) so that is suspicious.
Consider doing a visit to an urologist rule out a problem in the testicles, and do a complete blood count for ruling our the blood diseases that give lumps in the groin.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
