ello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
Enlarged inguinal (groin) lymph node just indicates some kind of active infection around its draining area. It might be over your feet or groin.
You don't need to worry because it will subside once the infection is controlled.
I suggest you to consult a general practitioner and get the following things done:-
1.Antibiotic therapy is essential and a short course of antibiotics may be needed for five to seven days.
2.Look for any active infection or wound over your feet and in that case apply
topical antibiotic creams like
mupirocin over the area.
3.You can use
acetaminophen or ibuprufen for fever and pain.
4.Warm compresses over the affected area would provide symptomatic relief.
5.Check your blood sugar level to rule out
diabetes.
6.Drink plenty of water and have healthy diet. You are feeling tired because of
dehydration and oral fluids can refresh you.
Most of the cases pain and swelling will be subsided with antibiotic therapy and supportive measures,If the symptoms persist despite all these a biopsy may be needed.
Hope i have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
