What Causes Swollen Lymph Glands After A Spleen Removal Surgery?
After my son had his spleen removed they told him there was a tumor (in the spleen). The doctor was confident that he got it all and said he even cleaned out around where the spleen was . Now they tell him the lymph glands are swollen. Could this be a result of the surgery or could he have cancer?

Consult a physician and get a fine needle biopsy of the swollen node to rule out cancer.
Most probably it will be a reactive lymph node secondary to infection and will settle would antibiotics.
