Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Swollen Lymph Node Along With Pain And Swelling In Breast?
My exiphoid process seems to be longer and somewhat larger I dont feel bloating or weight loss but have had some swollen lymph nodes in my armpit last month as well as a painful swollen breast lump, likely the same lymph nodes as I hear cancer lumps are not usually super painful. Is their some reason these symptoms may be suddenly occurring? I am 30 female and have no children with no family cancer concerns but a great grandfather had rheumatoid and I suffer from natural s4 s5 fusion, have never been checked for any autoimmune diseases so I wonder if these may be symptoms since I have had multiple unexplained miscarriages, and severe arthritis pain for years.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, xiphoid process is nothing to do anything with the lymph nodes and lump in the breast, size of xiphoid process goes on changing from person to person so no need to worry about this, for the lymph nodes this may be normal one if this is just painful when touched, lump in the breast need to be differentiate well and mammogram is advisable, lymph node should be kept under observation for any changes, take care.
