What Causes Swollen Lymph Node In The Armpit?
Recently I have had a flare up of carpel tunnel. A few days ago I started to get a swollen lymph node under my armpit on the same hand I experience the carpel tunnel. Normally if I had swollen lymph nodes I would put it down to an infection but I seem fine. Could the carpel tunnel be contributing to the swollen lymph nodes through some inflammatory response?

Correct. Lymph nodes respond to any source of inflammation in the area in which they drain though they mostly respond to infection as you mentioned.
IN most cases, where there is enlargement due to inflammation, the nodes resolve soon after the source has been treated or improved.
In some cases, however, it can take 3 to 4 weeks for them to return to normal.
