What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes After Unprotected Intercourse?
Hi dr I have swollen lymph nodes after unprotected sex with unknown status man since 2 years these nodes are painless and solid and they are not going away.. I m worried that that I might have hiv so please Dr help me that does swollen lymph nodes for 2 years are a symptom of hiv I haven t any other symptom

Swollen lymph nodes can be caused due to many reasons like bacterial infection, tuberculosis, and HIV infection. Since you are worried about HIV, kindly get your blood sample tested for HIV status. If it is found to be negative, then you need to undergo fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) test. Kindly consult physician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
