What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes All Over, Diarrhea And Insomnia?

For five weeks now, I, a 23 male have had swollen (golf ball size) /sore lymph nodes all over, low BP 90/60, fainting diarrhea fatigue but blood tests normal. Given Bactrim, but had to go to ER with allergic reaction. Given a different antibiotic but it didn t help. I was tested for STDs, mononucleosis, and strep. Now I have severe pain in my feet and insomnia.

Hi,

You appear to have multiple enlarged lymph nodes in various parts of your body. This condition is called generalized lymphadenopathy and can be caused by multiple conditions like infection, autoimmune diseases, malignancies etc. I would advise you to visit your treating doctor and find out the cause for it before starting any medication. You need to undergo a thorough and detailed checkup to rule out many conditions.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
