What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes Along With Ear Pain?
Hi there I have very swollen lymph nodes my tonsils look swollen but hard to breath a bit I have had a swollen type throat for 2 days and today it feels worse my ears hurt a little but keep bothering me. I know I don t have tonsillitis but coughing helps numb when I swallow
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain swollen lymph nodes, tonsillitis and breathing difficulty can be due to infection in throat which can be due to a number of causes like throat infection, sinusitis, post nasal drip etc.. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis.. You can be advised to take antibiotics like Augmentin or Azithromycin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room.. Avoid spicy and chilled foods. Chew a Vitamin C pellet daily.. Maintain a good oral hygiene and sip on plenty of warm water..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
