Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello im trying to get healthy, im overweight but i cut my tea soda s out over a month ago about the same time my left groin lymphnode started swelling. i want to start working out but im always so tired, and lately ive been getting headaches to the front and rear of my head, i have only been able to eat small amounts and im limited on what my stomach will allow, looking at almost all food makes me sick. the lymphnode busted about a week ago it no longer hurts but started draining.
First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, the swollen lymph node needs to be evaluated for any inguinal hernia or surrounding local cause on infection.
Getting lymph node biopsy as well as baseline blood work up like ESR and blood counts alongwith peripheral smear is recommended. Weight loss of any should be reported.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
