Hi,

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, the swollen lymph node needs to be evaluated for any inguinal hernia or surrounding local cause on infection.

Getting lymph node biopsy as well as baseline blood work up like ESR and blood counts alongwith peripheral smear is recommended. Weight loss of any should be reported.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
