What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In Abdomen Of A Child With Elevated WBC?
my 9 year old nephew has been hospitalized with swollen lymph nodes in his stomach, high fever, high white blood cell count, blood in his urine. Stomach pain was severe enough to be administered morphine. Up until now he has be a healthy boy. Any ideas?

It seems that there might be having some severe infection in abdomen producing intestinal mesenteric lymphadenitis.
This require evaluation of his case.
Ultra sound of abdomen will give clear view of his problem.
Consult Gastro-enterologist and get examined.
