What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Groin Area?
I had kidney cancer 17 years ago . Three years ago I developed what the dr called a hernia in what I understand is my inguinal area. This caused me no problems unless I ate grapes !! I have been for an ultra sound and was told no hernia but enlarged lymph glands each side . The swelling which was thought to be a hernia is flat when I lay down and when I stand it feels like fluid . Very soft and moveable . I am obviously concerned about this
There can be several reasons for swollen lymph nodes in the groin region. It can be infective (most likely), tuberculous or cancerous. only way to confirm is to do a needle biopsy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
