What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck Along With Dry Cough?
Hi. Thank you. I went to the doctor for a check up and because of swollen lymph nodes in my neck and a dry cough that I have had for well over a year. None of that bothersome, just noticeable. they called to tell me to come back in due to a possibility of cervical cancer. I had cervical cancer 20 years ago. I am wondering if the lymph nodes and cough are associated with cervical cancer? Also, i had a cone biopsy that removed the cancer. is treatment the second time about the same?
I want to know you had cancer of the cervix. Your lymph nodes in the neck are very common. They can be in case of sore throat, bronchitis or even scalp infection n rarely in case of cancer.
In case of CA of cervix lymph node normally around cervix is enlarged n in advanced cases lymph nodes of abdomen or chest are involved.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
