What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck And Armpit?

My sonis 20 and had a bad case of mono 6 months ago. He finally recovered and gained all his weight back. Last week his glands in neck were swollen and one in armpit. Just had a blood test today to see if it recurring. My question is about the herb Samento.....I ve heard it s safe and good for immune system. Should I give it to him. Thank you

Hello,

You can help relieve symptoms of infectious mononucleosis by:

1. Drinking fluids to stay hydrated.
2. Getting plenty of rest.
3. Taking over-the-counter medications for pain and fever.

You should avoid contact sports until you fully recover. Participating in contact sports can be strenuous and may cause the spleen to rupture.

Avoid taking amoxicillin or ampicillin antibiotics. About herb we can't have medical evidence to treat the Infection with it.
