What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck, Mild Fever And Night Sweats?

A college student complains of having no energy, swollen lymph nodes in the neck region, low grade fever, headache, loss of appetite, and night sweats. He has been taking penicillin for two weeks, but has seen no improvement. What would be one possible organism that produces these symptoms?

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Swollen lymph nodes,low grade fever,headache ,loss of appetite and night sweats
points towards many things.
1.Infectious mononucleosis
2.Tuberculosis
3.Lymphoma
4.Brucellosis
Needs work up and proper examination.
Do chest x-ray,ESR,full blood count and let the doctor see your patient and report.
