Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your sub mandibular swelling.

Most of the painful swollen lymp nodes are because of acute infection of same side of - face, tongue, teeth, ear or throat. If you have any of these conditions related you don't need to worry any thing about it.

There is no overnight swelling like cancer that too painful possible. You can write to us back and we will provide you the best second opinion about your health.

In case you don't have any of these conditions you must take antibiotics like Amoxycilin that will help you to get rid of the infectious conditions provided you are not allergic to it. You may also need a medical examination in case swelling doesn't regress.

Hope your is answered. Please provide your feedback so that we will continue our assistance.
