What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Pelvis?
a friend of mine had a baby via c section. that was about 5 month ago. Her incision never healed correctly and was now called by her physician and told to go to local hospital for a STAT pelvic ultrasound as she has a massive amount of swollen lymph nodes in her pelvis. She has not had any discomfort but has lost 70 pounds since delivery and is still breast feeding. thoughts?

What is her age and does she have any family history of cancer? Because she should be screened for cancer and genital TB. It can also lead to lymphadenopathy or other infections.
