My dentist noticed that my glands seem to be swollen. Looks like they ve been that way since my last check-up. I have no fever or other symptoms...although I do tend to have a lot of mucous, but that s normal for me. Is this cause for alarm? My next full check-up is May 6th.

Hi, Welcome to HCM. Swollen lymph nodes indicate infection in the parts drained by the nodes(if the nodes in neck is involved.. throat,toncills,teeth,face,eyes ,ear or scalp infection is possible)You should have a physical check up by your family doctor &start eith the soecific treatment.. If there is no obvious infection a blood check up for cell counts needs to be sStart with needful treatment &further evaluation csn be done at your full check up in May ... if needful. Thanks.
