Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Oral swab culture and blood tests can help in ruling out the cause and can be treated accordingly.. As of now you can apply numbing gels like Oragel, Mucopain gel etc that can contain Lignocaine or Choline Salicylate.. You should suck ice to reduce inflammation.. Take anti inflammatory pain relievers like Advil or Aleve.. Avoid spicy foods and take soft and bland diet.. Sip on plenty of cool water.. Do cool compresses over the swollen glands..
