What Causes Swollen Neck And White Blisters On The Tongue?
Hi there, I have a swollen neck, I do not have tonsils just swollen glands and I also have these white blisters on the tip and side of my tongue. this morning there were 2 blisters and now there is 10. it hurts to swallow. I have had a history or tonsillitis and borderline glandular fever. please tell me whats wrong? I am under a lot of stress if that is the reason?
As per your complain swollen neck and white blisters on tongue is appearing to be due to viral infection..
Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Oral swab culture and blood tests can help in ruling out the cause and can be treated accordingly..
As of now you can apply numbing gels like Oragel, Mucopain gel etc that can contain Lignocaine or Choline Salicylate.. You should suck ice to reduce inflammation.. Take anti inflammatory pain relievers like Advil or Aleve.. Avoid spicy foods and take soft and bland diet.. Sip on plenty of cool water.. Do cool compresses over the swollen glands..
Hope this helps.. Regards..
