Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my 2.5 year old son has had a swollen occipital lymph nod for about a year and it seems to be growing. the pediatrician insists it s a cyst but no tests no ultrasounds to confirm his diagnosis. i went to the hospital for second opinion and the dr there said it s juts a swollen lymph nod and it happens a lot for children. I m not convinced and think there should be some sort of invistigation since it s growing and no pain and no other symptoms. What do you recommend i do?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, yes this could be lymph node only and this is nothing to worry because this may not be disease of any kind, actually some other associated clinical symptoms need to be managed with this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
