Thanks , this is neat! Two days ago i woke up with a sore swollen throat but no fever and no obvious cold symptoms. Now i have a chest cough that is constant but i have never sneezed once. Is this something i need to see the doctor for or just treat with stuff lke Dayquill.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of swollen throat along with coughing which is mainly due to lung infection or pharyngitis or upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry about it. Take a combination of amoxycillin and combiflam. You should take decongestant medication Pseudoephadrine to prevent respiratory insufficiency. You should take Take a cough expectorant 2 to 3 times a day. Do warm saline gargles. You should take steam inhalation. Your symptoms will resolve in one week. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should take Loratidine syrup.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
