What Causes Swollen Throat, Sore Throat, Ear Pain And Swollen Tongue?
I've been sick for 8 days now with a sore/swollen throat, ear aches in both ears and a swollen tongue. The only med I'm allergic to is tetricycline (doubt that's a correct spelling) and I have NOT had that. This started last Saturday - 13th - as a mild sore throat. Took my temp for the first time tonight and it was 101.2
Need not to worry about it. Visit ENT specialist once and get some routine blood investigation done. Go for thorough examination and go for ear examination by otoscope. Take diet rich in multivitamins. Gargle warm saline rinses. Apply numbing orabase gel on tongue. You should take steam inhalation through the nose and mouth will help including the ear discomfort. Avoid carbonated beverages. Drink plenty of water as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
