What Causes Swollen Thyroid, Mucus Drainage And Swollen Lump At Back Of Throat?
I have a swollen thyroid and have been having mucus drainage. I threw up my food and gagged as the rice and mucus came up. My head started hurting from the gaggong and since then when I swallow it feels like I have a lump in the back of my throat and it hurts. Why?

I would advise
To consult a general surgeon and get endoscopy done to rule out any pouch, and get treated accordingly.
need not panic as in case of inflammation antibiotic would produce excellent results.
