Hi Dear,

Welcome to Health Care Magic Team.

Understanding your concern.

Swollen tonsils and red lines at back of throat as per your query could be because of infamation of tonsils due to bacterial infection of staypholococcus or streptococcus probably . It could be because of infected tooth in your oral cavity. Allergic reaction to certain allergens can also cause inflammation of tonsils and red lines there at back of throat.

I would suggest you to have warm saline rinses gargles or betadine gargles thrice a day. Use antibiotic such as Azithromycin , Amoxicillin to prevent infection. If your symptoms associated with fever then take paracetamol tablet along with antibiotic. Take multivitamin rich in vitamin B12.

Use antimicrobial mouth wash to prevent oral cavity from bacteria. Avoid food rich in spices , rich in citrus to prevent exagerration of symptoms. If your symptoms keeps on persisting even after 1 week then visit ENT speacialist once.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
