What Causes Swollen Upper Lip After A Dental Procedure?
My top lip swollen. I have a tooth that a partial filling came Out. Dentist gave me amoxicillin to get rid of infection before extracting the tooth but the very center of my top lip stays swollen!!en. It looks like a circle and is bigger in the mornings.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of swollen upper lip after a dental procedure which is mainly due to allergic reaction and dental infection as well.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take antihistamine tablets as it will subside the allergy and your symptoms will be resolved immediately. Till then take ibuprofen or Tylenol to prevent pain. Drink plenty of water and apply ice cold pack in swollen area it will subside swelling. Visit oral physician once and get it examined completely if symptoms keeps on persisting and start treatment accordingly.
