What Causes Swollen Vein Behind Ear And Pimple On Neck?

I have a pimple on my neck at the hair line on the right side. Went to urgent care and dr said do warm wash cloth compresses. I was able to drain some puss out of it. I know have a swollen vein behind my right ear. Should I go to the ER? I don t have a headache and it s not painful. I m just a huge worrier
