What Causes Swollen Vein In The Penis When Sexual Aroused?

I changed shower soap and got a deep soap burn in January. When showering I sometimes get a blood blister that pops up as I watch. then it goes away as the blood is absorbed. In January I had some fungus and clotrimazole took care of the external fungus. THe problem now is my penis swells up with blood when I am aroused. Once there was a hole in the skin and blood sprayed out. The doctors have had me on Levaquin twice and now i m on Lotrisone. The problem seems to be under the skin where the antifungal cannot reach.

Hi,

Noted your history about the swelling with blood on penis, fungal treatment and so on.
The commonest cause of swelling can be one of the following:
There would have been rupture of the major vein or development of aneurysm type problems hence you are getting blood filled swelling
of the penis on erection.
This can be diagnosed by the following ways:
An actual examination by a Doctor or an Urologist .
Ultrasonography with color doppler.
These will give a proper diagnosis and thus allow a proper management.
Do not apply anything on your own for the fungal problems, consult a Dermatologist for proper diagnosis and management.
