What Causes Swollen Veins On Forearm And Abdominal Region?

I went to dr last week for swollen vein on my jaw. She checked my WBC count and couldn t find a problem, she told me to try putting a heating pad on it and it worked within the hour. Now I have swollen veins on my forearm and veins on my left abdominal region with bruising accompanied by pain. Should I go back to dr, or am I probably just deficient of some vitamin or something?
