Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
its been 10 dayd since i was circumcised and developed hematoma and was redone.my question is swellin on th side where a vein was bleeding has reduced but i can tell therre som slight swell from th stitchrd vein. will this be a cause of conern.i am now at day 3 of second stitching
Now since the bleeding vein has been sutured by the doctor, and there is no more bleeding or hematoma, all should be fine in a week or ten days time. The slight swelling of the stitched vein is not of much concern. Please apply any antibiotic cream like Neosporin or Mupirocin twice a day over the operated area and please keep it clean. If your doctor has prescribed you a short course of antibiotics, it is good.
