consult a neurologist. The doctor will also check his vitals and will go for basic blood tests to see everything is OK. He will also review the medicines your husband is taking. So regular physician visit and once in a while a Neurologist visit is necessary for your husband.
Secondly, you need to take care of his antihypertensive medications. Make sure he takes all other medicines he has to take on daily basis.
DNR is important decision and he has the official power of attorney in the first place to sign a DNR. No One can challenge or change that except the patient himself. But that is the case if unfortunately get hospitalized and remains incapacitated.
