Since you are a senior citizen you are suggested to get a complete cardiac check up done. CBC,
lipid profile and EKG, etc. This is to stay on the safer side & to rule out any developing CAD. Stress and anxiety trigger palpitations, stay away from them. If it is IBS, take fiber rich food, avoid
constipation, take laxatives at bed time.
Indigestion and allergy to certain food may also cause
acid reflux and trigger palpitations after food. For relieve take antacids and PPI's, one SOS after food. Take digestive enzymes (aristozyme, one SOS) to help easy digestion. Take some liver tonic to boost your metabolic system. It is effective and you will feel better. Do regular walking and stay cheerful. Stay well hydrated and take adequate sleep. You can take
vitamin E (Evion 400mg), once daily for 15 days.
