What Causes Tannish Colored Stools In A Child?

I have a 1 yr old son who has had tanish colored stools since Saturday. He has not been eating well for 1 week, but some meals he eats well and then others not so much. He has 2 dirty diapers daily, and has been acting mostly normal. Does he need to be tested for gallbladder and/or liver problems?
