I have a fast tapping sound in my right ear. I have no other symptoms like dizziness etc. No cold, ear infection. It is not my pulse as my pulse is quite slow and this is very rapid. If I plug my ear, I don't hear it. Have had it a few times before in the past month but tonight it isn't going away. I do not have high blood pressure either. Normal blood pressure, lowish pulse but I am a runner
Hi, tapping sound in the ear is called tinnitus, and for you it can be either wax or inner ear problem. Get your wax removed , and get the audiogram rule out any inner ear nerve weakness. Empirically you can take betahistine with ginkobiloba tablet for 3 months.
