What Causes Taste Of Sulphur And Burning Sensation In Throat?
Hi, I have had acid reflux for about 10 years now since I was about 18. I had been taking omeprazole since then but recently stopped in exchange for apple cider vinegar, kombucha, aloe vera and kefir. my stomach is a lot better and I don t generally get any acid reflux but I find my throat still gets a burning feeling a lot of the time. It is usually fine in the morning then gets progressively worse towards the evening with nothing being able to resolve. I also frequently get a taste of sulphur in my throat. Any information or advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the acid reflux disease then it need to be managed with PPI (Proton pump inhibitors ) only and best drug would be "Omeprazole" what ever you took might have exert the placebo effect so better to have " Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg" once in day at evening time for three weeks, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
