Hi , my daughter is 7 years old .and she s had a seizure, I took her to the emergency and the doctor s there did a few tests and told me she ll be alright. So we re back home ,And I ve noticed that she s restless at bedtime and she grinds her teeth .I m wondering if this could be a cause by pinworms infections .please and thank you for your feed back .
Teeth grinding or Bruxism in kids is commonly seen when either body or brain or at times both are in a condition of stress. Sometimes certain neurological conditions can be a cause. Pinworm infection is not a sure reason for Bruxism and if you suspect it you should get it investigated.. If she had a seizure then you should question your doctor about the cause of seizure.. Get her proper treatment initiated.. Reduce her stress by talking to her, reassuring her if she has any problem and comfort her by being with her when she is on bed to sleep.. Give her a nutritious diet and sufficient rest..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
