What Causes Temper Tantrums In A Child?

My 4-year-old suddenly has started becoming very upset over anything thrown away (including pieces of fuzz on the ground, small wrappers, anything). She is a very caring, usually easy-going girl, and this is very out-of character. Should I be concerned about something physiological?

hi
thanks for posting on hcm
in short there is nothing to worry.
its very common for children to throw tantrums in this age group.
i would advise you the following
1.avoid situations which makes her lose temper
2.don't react to her tantrums, ignore and keep yourself calm, don't complain.
3.make sure she is safe when she shows tantrums
4.appreciate when she remains calm.
5.use time out procedures for her tantrums.
usually by a year or more these episodes will pass off.
hope this is helpful.
regards
