Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good Afternoon: I have been having pain in my right temple. Its not throbbing or anything its just like a soreness and it goes away with medication. I usually take Excedrin tension headache and it eases off. What could be causing this discomfort?
The symptoms are consistent with common causes like a migraine or a tension headache, as a first line management, you can try analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.
It is not related to Excedrin.
If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
