General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite common among young girls and it is due to hormonal changes in the body. As a first-line management you can take analgesics like mefenemic acid for pain.

Avoid spicy foods and take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for gastritis.

Generally, it will settle by itself in a couple of months. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
