What Causes Tender Bump On The Middle Of Forehead After An Injury?

I hit my forehead at a speed of 20klm an hour and I m 220lbs. And I hit it in plexi glass windshield. I had a small bump in the middle of my forehead not really noticeable unless I rubbed my head and my forehead is tender to touch. Should I be concerned? I never went to get checked

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The bump is normal after an injury. I suggest using an anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application. If you have vomiting, I suggest to go at the emergency room.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
