Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a small bump on my second toe right under the nail. When I first discovered it I thought it was a blister, I put a bandaid over it and it stopped hurting. But if I am on my feet for a long time it begins to hurt. And if I push on it, it is very tender. I don t know how long it s been there as I check my feet regularly due to having diabetes. Can you tell me what it is and how to get rid of it
It is a diabetic ulcer.. I suggest you to consult a surgeon personally because it may be a serious problem. Finally end with 'Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help". For Follow up questions, end with "If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you good health".
