What Causes Tender, Growing Lump On Temple With Blurry Vision?
I have a growing lump on my left temple that is tender to the touch. Also tons of abdominal bloating with constioation and headache and blurry vision. Just noticed lump a week ago, all other symptoms have been ongoing for months. Not sure if related but right now just concerned about this painful growing lump.
I wouldn't really worry, as the temple is a region quite sensitive to acne and infection or inflammation of a hair follicle causing a small abscess like swelling, this usually is painful and subsides on its own or with the help of lukewarm compresses, at times antibiotic therapy and very rarely requires surgical drainage.
But I would also like to raise caution, if at all you are a woman and are above 50-years of age, it would be best to visit your doctor for a more elaborate evaluation and further treatment. Temporal arteritis may need ruling out. in the meantime, keep the area clean and dry at all times, and do not touch it or try to pop it.
Best wishes.
