hello, I have a tender and itchy vagina. i am trying to find a safe way to remedy it. are vaginal creams safe? without knowledge of what the cause is? this is unusual for me, I have never had a yeast infection before, and I have tried to reach my gynecologist. it is a holiday and a weekend I may not get help for a week. should I wait a week? ive read so many causes and reasons for the itch. can I use a anti itch cream until I get to my physician? are they safe? will it make things worse? any help will be appreciated.
Hello dear I understand your concern Your symptoms could be due to the vaginal infection (bacterial vaginosis, yeast), contact dermatitis. Vaginal examination by the gynaecologist is must to diagnose the cause. Vaginal swab test and microscopy will help to find the cause. Meanwhile take following advises: Apply vagisil cream Apply lactobacillus suppository Wash vagina with warm salted water and then apply apple cidar vinegar Maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using V vaginal plus wash Wear pure cotton loose inner
After gynaecologist consultation, she will give proper prescribed drug like Single dose treatment of azithromycin + flucanoaol + tinidazole Vaginal suppository of clotrimzole
Drink plenty of water and eat healthy diet Hope this may help you
