What Causes Tenderness And Pain In Left Breast With A Cyst?
I have a breast cyst in my left breast. I was diagnosed by specialist and take supplements and curb caffiene consumption. Over the last few weeks my breast has more tender and recently my left nipple is very tender and the pain is more generalized in the breast. Is it a flare up of the cyst?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM With a cyst in the left breast, the first probable cause of your pain may be linked to it.As the cyst grows in size, it may give such manifestations.Even though you got a cyst in the left breast, a breast infection or mastitis can still be the problem.I will suggest you see a your Doctor for examination. The size of the cyst will also need to be evaluated with an ultrasound. If it has gained much volume, i will suggest you see a Surgeon or Gynecologist for removal. If the pain not linked to the cyst, pain medications and maybe antibiotics will help depending on the clinical orientation of your Doctor. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
