What Causes Tenderness And Pain In The Abdomen On The Right Side?

I have had a tenderness & constant pain in my right side for 5&1/2 years. Have had Cat scans, X-rays, MRI, ultra sound. Doctor says it might be from cyst on liver or gallbladder. No definite diagnosis. Dr. Suggests having cyst broken lapis optically then if pain persists after have gall bladder out. Other symptoms-low grade pain 20 minutes after eating or drinking. One black out after having alcohol with dinner. Severe pain when bending & twisting toward right side. What is your take on this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for your question.

I do understand your pain and discomfort.

As per your history is concerned please check these three points:-

1)What is the result of amylase and lipase value of blood?

2)MRI scans for pancreas [upload reports]

3)Check if your symptoms reduced by taking digestive enzymes [lipase + amylase +protease] before one hour of meal.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.

Wishing you all the best.

Thanks
