What Causes Tenderness And Pain On The Scalp?
I hit the top of my head on a door header last week and it is tender to the touch, scalp is sore as if a bruise or sunburn sensation, constant headache, variable degrees of pain.Headache pain is centered to top of head (soft spot) and from eyebrows to top of head down to ears, scalp is sensitive to touch. Back of head and neck is fine. .

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and plan for CT scan to rule out a concussion or head injury.
