What Causes Tenderness And Pressure In The Lower Abdomen?
I have muscle tenderness in my lower abdominal area and a feeling of pain or pressure when I stand up or sit down. When I walk it the tenderness or discomfort makes me want to lean forward. The pain is not related to nausea, diarrhea or constipation.. It is more like muscle tenderness or cramping after you have done too mant sit- ups. It is tender to touch. I have been running a fever ranging from 99.5 - 101 for two days and I feel extremely tired. Is this just a virus that will go away?
Hello thank you for writing us here. Your symptoms suggests of abscess in abdomen. I would suggest you to take Amoxicillin 250mg twice a day for 5 days or 500mg once in a day for 5 days. It would be alright by then. You may also notice some swelling at groin region which would be lymph nodes but don't worry it would subside on its own. God bless you.
Best regards, Dr Gunjan
