What Causes Tenderness And Soreness In The Breasts?

Hi Doc. I am on a 5day et and currently on day 4 after et. I always have tenderness of breasts when period is about to start but have since noticed though my breasts are still tender they are not as sore as they were couple of days ago. I also have been having pain in my left groin and leg and also a burning sensation when I urinate. Also a feeling in my left side abdomin like a slight cramping. Could this be a good sign?

Tenderness and Soreness of the breast that you are describing are part of pre-menstrual symptoms. Some other symptoms include: headache, fatigue, abdominal bloating, constipation/diarrhea, mood swings, tension, anxiety, and joint pain. If the tenderness is severe enough, you could take NSAID drug such as Tylenol. The left side abdominal/groin pain along burning sensation while urination may be due to Urinary tract infection. I think you should go to your primary doctor to get your urine evaluated. Meanwhile drink lots of water. I hope I have answered your question. Let me know if you have any further questions.
