What Causes Tenderness And Swelling In The Vagina?
I thought I had a yeast infection and used a one-day Tioconazole treatment last night before bed. I woke up this morning with a lot of tenderness and swelling in my labia and vulva. As the day s gone on, I ve also noticed the discharge from the medicine is becoming yellowish. Should I call my doctor?

Vaginal yeast infection and other fungal infections may respond well on Tioconazole.However, treating vaginal infection without confirming cause may not always be the best habbit.I will suggest you see the Doctor for a vaginal swap smear test and if need be, an STI work-up and a PAP Smear test.From the results of the test, objective treatment may be administered.It may not be vaginal yeast infection since many other medical conditions may give you such a presentation.
