I HAVE PAIN IN MY TORSO ON LEFT SIDE. JUST BELOW MY RIB CAGE IS TENDER TO TOUCH AND BURNS A BIT WHEN I COUGH OR BREATHE DEEPLY. i DON T FEEL LIKE I PULLED A MUSCLE. THIS JUST STARTED BOTHERING ME A DAY OR SO AGO. THESE SYMPTOMS ON WEBSITE TURNED UP 65 POSSIBILITIES. I M CONCERNED IT MAY BE SOMETHING SERIOUS. I AM TYPE 2 DIABETIC. NO ISSUES WITH VOMITING OR DIARRHEA. CAN YOU HELP NARROW DOWN. IT WILL BE FRIDAY AT LEAST BEFORE I CAN GET TO A DOCTOR.

It may be due to conditions like costochondritis.

As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
